Jackson Muya of The God's Story Project in Kenya joins Bryan on today's show to discuss his story of colporteur ministry turned into story and oral strategy to reach the unreached oral learners of his country. Discovering that taking books and Bibles to remote villages where people mostly do not read was not the best strategy to reach the lost, God led Jackson on a journey that led him to using Bible story and inductive Bible study oral style to reach the lost. His passion is to see the spread of God's Word in the land like a bush fire and he feels that the use of story is key to seeing this happen. Links ... The God's Story Project ... Meet Billy Coppedge, his wife Joanna and their young family, serving for several years now with World Gospel Mission in northern Uganda on the Congolese and Southern Sudanese borders. Billy tells his story from studying, with a very academic background, and serving Jesus in Kentucky, and how he ends up in Uganda and begins serving there using story. It is a testimony of how storytelling impacted his own life, and subsequently, his ministry in Africa.
